What We Are Looking for

ISGlobal is seeking a research assistant who is interested in taking over and managing activities of a systematic literature review and meta-analysis on noma clinical features. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data extraction from included studies
  • Coordination of data extraction by other team members
  • Data cleaning and curation
  • Data analysis

AUXILIAR TASK

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in a health-related field
  • Master's degree in related areas is an added value
     

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Interest in noma disease
  • Experience in systematic literature reviews
  • Experience in statistical analysis using R
  • Experience with REDCap software 

SKILLS

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving competence and effective communication skills
  • Able to collaborate and operate as part of a multi-cultural team

LANGUAGE LEVEL

  • Fluent in oral and written English. 
  • Knowledge of Portuguese and/or German will be an asset

CONDITIONS

  • Duration: 3 months 
  • Starting date: 1st July
  • Contract: Full time
  • Salary Range: adapted to candidate’s profile and qualifications, based on ISGlobal institutional salary scale.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process is designed in two phases

1 - Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.

In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
