Preparing Together for Tomorrow’s Crises is a high-level, invitation-only event bringing together leaders from science, policy, practice and civil society to strengthen global health preparedness, response, recovery and resilience (P3R3).

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 19 February 2026, from 9:00 to 17:30, at the PRBB Auditorium in Barcelona.

About the event

This event is the second major meeting organised within the framework of the P3R3 Global Platform, following the first workshop held in January 2025 in Barcelona. Building on the discussions and outcomes of that initial meeting, this second edition will provide a space to:

  • Reflect on policy challenges for effective preparedness and response.
  • Review lessons learned during the first year of the P3R3 Global Platform.
  • Explore intersectoral approaches that connect science, policy, practice and civil society to improve preparedness and resilience to future crises.

Programme overview

Participants will be able to attend three main sessions:

1. The State of the P3R3 Platform One Year After the First Workshop

Speakers:

  • Denise Naniche (ISGlobal)
  • Elizabeth Diago Navarro (ISGlobal)
  • Josep Lobera (ONAC)
  • Josep Maria Jansa (ASPB)

This session will take stock of the progress made since the launch of the P3R3 Global Platform and identify key priorities for the year ahead.

Speakers:

  • Tamara Giles-Vernick (Institut Pasteur)
  • Natalia Martin (BE READY, ANRS | Inserm)
