Eva Iranzo Ribera has a degree in Biological Systems Engineering (UPC, EEABB) and a master's degree in Statistics and Operations Research (UB-UPC, FME).

Her bachelor thesis (“Estimació del contingut de Nitrogen en blat utilitzant mètodes òptics”) was focused on studying the amount of nitrogen in a wheat crop by the application of various non-destructive optical methods, both at the field level and at the laboratory level (UPC, Campus del Baix Llobregat).

Interested in statistics and biology (particularly in genetics) her master's degree project (“A genome-wide association study of cattle feed efficiency”) was focused on carrying out a genome wide association study of a cattle to investigate the existence of possible genetic polymorphisms that significantly increase the milk production efficiency of cows. The database was provided by IRTA (Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology).

She is currently working as a biostatistician on the BiSC (Barcelona Life Study Cohort) project.
