Lancet Commentary Points Out Higher Risks for Women and Children in the Ebola Outbreak

The Lancet published yesterday a commentary that describes the sociocultural and health-care factors that make women and children more vulnerable to the Ebola outbreak in west Africa.
The paper is authored by Clara Menéndez, director of ISGlobal's Initiative of Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health, Anna Lucas, coordinator of the Initiative, along with Khátia Munguambe (Manhiça Health Research Centre) and Anna Langer (Maternal Health Task Force).
