Our Team

Sara Lasunción has an interdisciplinar background in both biomedical and social sciences. She took a degree in Biomedical Sciences in Universitat de Barcelona (U.B.) which she finished in the Freie Universität in Berlin (F.U.). Afterwards, she studied a master's on Social Anthropology and Ethography and another master course on Globalization, Cooperation and Developement in U.B. She has worked in the humanitarian aid sector refugee camps in Greece where she has colaborated with grass-roots medical NGOs. Her career in humanitarian aid has directed her to the field of global health.

She started her work at ISGlobal as a Fieldwork Technician for the CalTraS project (Calor, Trabajo y Salud). She is currently a Research Technician for the MARCHES project, in which she represents ISGlobal regarding public administration and stakeholders involvement and consultation.
