Mariona was graduated in Biomedical Sciences at University of Barcelona in 2022. During her last academic year, she did an internship at the AmsterdamUMC,VUmc, in the Neuroncology Research Group, where she also developed the Final Bachelor Thesis. There, she was able to learn all the protocols to process blood samples from lung cancer patients in order to study their microRNAs profiles for later comparison to healthy donors.
