Miquel Vàzquez–Santiago graduated in Biology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2008. He obtained his PhD on Cell Biology (UAB) in 2017 at the Unitat d’Hemostàsia i Trombosis (IIB–Sant Pau) under the supervision of Dr. Juan Carlos Souto Andrés and Dr. Núria Pujol–Moix. His research focused on the primary haemostasis and its association to the venous thrombosis.

In November 2018 he joined ISGlobal as Biostatistician at the laboratory of the Dr. Carlota Dobaño Lázaro.
