Sandra Vial is awarded the Ignasi Fina Occupational Health 2010

Sandra Vial, head of the Risk Prevention in CREAL and IMIM Foundation, with those responsible for Risk Prevention of the rest of PRBB, has been awarded the Ignasi Fina Occupational Health 2010.

The prize is a donation of 6,000 euros and a diploma. They collect the prize on Wednesday 28 April, the same day of World Day for Health Education. The event was held at the Hall chronicles the City Council and was chaired by the Deputy Mayor for Social Action and Citizenship, Ricard Gomà.

For five years the City Council gives this award in order to recognize and reward the best experience of action or initiative in the prevention of occupational hazards and in improving working conditions developed in the city. Was conducted by the late Ignasi Fina, Councillor of Public Health of the City Council, with the desire to see the importance of the issue of employment and conditions of employment as determinants of health.

The paper "Information Model for integrating prevention into a building shared by different institutions of biomedical research: legislation to counter the laboratory" was awarded to adapt optimally to the objective conditions of the award and the treatment activity is complex, heterogeneous and plural that includes several lines of research, multiple disciplines, cultural diversity, up to 85 nationalities to the technical complexity and technological measures to prevent and best practices promoted ; for success when homogenize the information, standards, criteria id'unificar and finally, the embodiment of all this work in various activities such as basic safety instructions, handbook of preventive information in biomedical research (MIP) or Days of Prevention and Health Centers of Biomedical Research.

The winners are: Sonia Garcia Alcazar - Centre for Genomic Regulation, Sergio Jarque Salas - Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Rosabel Marrugat Lacosta - Centre for Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona (CMRB), Ruiz and Jordi Rull - Corporate Health - CRC, and Sandra Vial Foundation Creal-IMIM Foundation.
