Keren Agay, star of the new videoblog ‘Welcome to Catalonia’

The Secretary of Universities and Research of the Generalitat of Catalonia has launched the videoblog 'Welcome to Catalonia’, which aims to portray the reality of Catalan society from the point of view of students, faculty members and researchers doing international exchanges, as well as their everyday experiences in universities and research centers in Catalonia. CREAL researcher Keren Agay-Shay is one of the first people to participate in this initiative.

These short videos focus on specific aspects of the participants' day-to-day life in Catalonia. Thus, the 'Welcome to Catalunya' videoblog aims to provide an objective, journalistic perspective of the reality of universities and research centers in Catalonia, and is part of the activities commemorating the tricentenary of 1714.

The Secretary for Universities and Research, Antoni Castellà, highlighted that "the experiences described in this videoblog demonstrate the ability of the Catalan universities and research centres to attract international talent."

The first videos are now available both on the web, as a Youtube playlist from the Department of Economics and Knowledge, and the Twitter profile @ CAT_welcome.
