Jorge Salamanca

Postgraduate Business and Administration Management by Antonio de Nebrija University, and by the Complutense University of Madrid. Program and Public Policies Evaluation Master, Complutense University Madrid. Humanitarian Aid expert, and development cooperation consultant.

He has developed his humanitarian work for more than 17 years in several contexts and countries, especially Latin American & Caribbean, Africa and Middle East field and headquarters experience in several organizations.

Now he is senior consultant for the World Health Organization, Emergency Medical Teams (EMT Initiative). He was during 4 years the team leader of Spanish Cooperation Field Hospital level 2 (Emergency Medical Team - EMT). As an independent consultant, he has lead and developed evaluations, technical assistance, program identifications and consultancies for different organisms, NGOs.

He has specialized in Food Security and Household approach, with rights perspective. Also, he has a lot of Humanitarian Experience in the field. He also teaches project management in the Development Cooperation Master, Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset and in the Master of Global Health and the Master of Clinical Research – International Health Track in Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). He also collaborates with seminars and classes for the Complutense University in Madrid and the Universidad de Les Illes Balears.
