Sarah Koch studied Sport Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the University of California, Davis, and the University of Potsdam, where she graduated with a Diplom in 2009. She joined Dr Koehle’s Environmental Physiology Laboratory at the University of British Columbia to study the effects of asthma medications on athletic performance for her M.Sc (2011). In her doctoral work, Sarah Koch studied how physical activity in air pollution affects health.

Currently, she is a postdoctoral research fellow at ISGlobal with a particular focus on respiratory and environmental health and mobility assessments.
