Gabriela Lugon is a medical doctor specialised in Preventive Medicine and Public Health and a predoctoral researcher at ISGlobal. She obtained her medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Lima, Peru) and completed her residency in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona.

She holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedicine. Funded by a Río Hortega contract, her doctoral research is conducted under the supervision of Camille Lassale and focuses on the relationship between nutrition and mental health, examining how dietary composition and meal timing may influence the risk and progression of mental disorders in the adult general population.
