What We Are Looking for

ISGlobal is looking for an expert in calls for tender advisoring and management, with a particular interest in the Latin American Region. We are looking for an experienced officer with a wide acknowledgment of  the project lifecycle, the technical structure of tender proposals, the analysis of data and indicators.

The person will collaborate and report to: (i) the pre-award department, which helps researchers with the search for calls and opportunities at different levels, prepare proposals, present them to different funders and lead negotiations; (ii) the Global Development department for the data analysis and the final results.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in health sciences, economics, political/social sciences, anthropology or related.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Tender preparation and management
  • Data and indicator analysis
  • High level of English and Spanish
  • Desirable previous experience working with Latin America

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Call for Tender scouting, submission and management
  • Contribution to PreAward databases update and maintenance
  • Data analysis and interpretation for new indicators

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Identification of new funding sources with a specific focus on call for tenders.
  • Help and encourage researchers to create proposals that can be presented in international calls, especially in Latin America.
  • Help Principal Investigators in the preparation and submission of tenders.
  • Systematization of data and interpretation of results and indicators.
  • Contribute to tasks of maintenance of PreAward Databases.

CONDITIONS

  • Duration: 1 year
  • Starting date: 01/05/2024
  • Contract: Part time 50% during 1 year, renewable. If preferred by the candidate an eventual concentration of the time of work for a shorter period of time will be considered. 
  • Salary Range: 15000-18000€

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process is designed in two phases:
1 - Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.

In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
