Xtrategy

Model and Tool for designing strategies to scale up Chagas Disease care

Duration
02/04/2018 - 02/10/2019
Coordinator
María Jesús Pinazo and Javier Sancho
Funded by
AECID

XStrategy is a valuable tool for reflection when designing strategies for comprehensive Chagas care. It allows estimating the impact of different interventions and the complexity of implementing them. This in turn allows prioritizing cost-effective interventions for Chagas Disease.

Xstrategy is an interactive tool based on the analysis of multiple criteria (MCDA), adapted to the WHO model of the six necessary building blocks to strengthen health systems. This tool will be implemented in Bolivia after being revised and adapted to the Bolivian context with the participation and coordination of local health and education stakeholders.

XStrategy is developed by the Global Chagas Coalition together with the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal).
