Monitoring and Evaluation Research Capacity Strengthening Activities (MERCSA)

The TDR-ISGlobal Monitoring and Evaluation for Research Capacity Strengthening Activities (MERCSA) workshop, launched in a pilot version in 2021, is a 9-week online course that prepares participants to evaluate their own capacity strengthening activities using a results chain approach. Upon successful completion of the workshop, they should be able to: 

• Apply relevant terminology and concepts to describe, discuss and analyse M&E frameworks and findings
• Generate and implement M&E frameworks for research capacity strengthening activities

MERCSA integrates interactive learning activities and resources, peer-learning, and weekly webinars with expert facilitators to support participants as they build and practice skills and understanding of key concepts and develop their own M&E framework project.

Candidates for the pilot workshop will be selected via a nomination process.
