BOHEMIA Project: Biting Malaria Back (2019-2024)

BOHEMIA was a five-year project funded by Unitaid that conducted a trial in Mozambique and Kenya using the One Health approach. Ivermectin, a well-tolerated antiparasitic drug, was distributed to people and livestock in mass drug administration campaigns to reduce mosquito populations and, thereby, reduce malaria transmission.

This video summarises the story of the project - from its inception to lessons learned.
