Our Team

Clara Del Olmo Suárez-Llanos holds degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a Master's in the European Union from Instituto Europeo de Bilbao, and a Master's in Sustainable Development and Global Governance from UC3M, where she focused on development economics, political advocacy, climate policy, and governance. She also studied at George Mason University, where she explored global governance and U.S. foreign policy.

Her professional background spans research, policy writing, and advocacy, with a focus on development cooperation, EU external action, and environmental governance.

In her current role as Technician at ISGlobal's Preparedness and Response Hub, she contributes to the SCAL project, which examines the impact of ODA cuts on European health security and pandemic preparedness. Her work includes conducting structured literature reviews, documenting gaps in the global health security architecture, and drafting reports and communication outputs aimed at reframing development cooperation as a matter of direct European interest.
