Minerva Lopez

Research Assistant at UCC+i

Minerva López graduated in Social Education at the age of 25 and further advanced her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in Social Co-Design, specialising in participatory methodologies and community engagement. Her academic background seamlessly integrates the theoretical foundations of social education with practical frameworks for developing citizen-centred projects.

Her professional experience includes work on socio-educational initiatives within various communities. She has led citizen participation programmes, facilitating processes through which individuals become active agents of change in their environments.


At ISGlobal, she bridges the gap between public health research and community action and innovation. She coordinates citizen engagement activities within research processes and designs methodologies to integrate communities into global health projects. She currently contributes to initiatives such as Include and Pulse-Art.
