Juan Rivillas

Postdoctoral Researcher Environment and Health over the Lifecourse | Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health

Juan Carlos Rivillas is a data scientist specializing in biological clocks for precision medicine and prevention, with a focus on modifiable determinants of age acceleration. His work integrates ageing biomarkers with statistical and machine learning approaches to better understand how to extend both lifespan and healthy longevity.

He combines longitudinal and cross-sectional population data to investigate the biological and social pathways linking the exposome to cardiometabolic diseases, colorectal cancer, dementia, and obesity.

At ISGlobal, he is a postdoctoral researcher and member of the International Human Exposome Network (IHEN).
