Daphne Olivera Carranza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Universitat de Barcelona (2026) and a Higher Degree in Administration and Finance. She is also officially accredited as an Insurance Agent (Type B) by the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds. Her academic background has provided her with strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in financial management and administrative processes.

She has 3 to 4 years of professional experience in the insurance sector, where she developed expertise in client portfolio management, policy administration (including new business, renewals, and cancellations), contractual documentation review, and client advisory services. She also participated in negotiations with insurance companies, gaining a deep understanding of the sector’s operational and commercial dynamics. Her professional background is further complemented by a role in the accounting department of a management consultancy that provides services to a hospital, which allowed her to become familiar with accounting and administrative management within the healthcare environment.

She currently works as a Purchasing Technician at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). Her main responsibilities include managing purchase requests and purchase orders, monitoring orders, coordinating with suppliers, requesting quotes, resolving incidents, and preparing monthly reports. She ensures compliance with procurement policies and contributes to an efficient and sustainable supply chain management.
