Marta Pahissa

Research Technician

Marta Pahissa leads the strategic development and coordination of the European Secretariat of the Planetary Health Alliance at ISGlobal. Her work focuses on strengthening the European Hub, its network of Core Partners and strategic collaborations to advance the planetary health agenda across Europe.

She holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from UAB, a Master’s in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from UPF, and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability from ICTA-UAB. She has undertaken further training in climate and health, environmental health, corporate sustainability, digital transformation, innovation and circular economy.

Her career spans over 20 years across the environmental, corporate and healthcare sectors. Before joining ISGlobal, she directed the Centre for Planetary Health Development, a joint ISGlobal–Fundació Sanitària Mollet initiative. Previously, she led Environmental Transformation at ERGO-DKV Insurance Group, integrating environmental health and sustainability into corporate strategy, innovation, products and services, and was Director of Fundació Terra.

She also teaches in postgraduate and master’s programmes and regularly speaks on planetary health, environmental health, sustainability and organisational transformation.

When you are requested to provide personal data for the provision of services, you will be informed of what data you must provide.

If you do not provide this required data, we will not be able to provide you with the services. The personal data you provide or that ISGlobal obtains as a result of your browsing, queries or requests via our webpage at www.isglobal.org (the “website”) will be included in a file owned by ISGlobal for managing, storing and tracking your requests for information and/or contracting of goods or services offered via the website.
