Our Team

Pamela Blanche is a science communication specialist at ISGlobal’s UCC+i. She holds a degree in Physiotherapy and a Master’s Degree in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

She has more than eight years of experience in project management, scientific, medical and environmental communication, and event organisation and planning. She has coordinated science communication projects related to urban planning, the environment and health, including Park(ing) Day Barcelona 2024 and BiblioLab Ciència Refugis Climàtics.

She has also participated in various research projects and citizen participation processes, collaborating in laboratories and activities addressing air pollution, noise, heat, renaturalisation, physical activity and antimicrobial resistance, including Viladecans Viu Verd, TANIA, ODS+ a les escoles, Park(ing) Day 2023, Oasis Climàtics, AMR EDUCare and AVANTIA. She has also contributed to the communication and engagement of a national European cooperation programme bringing together scientists and policymakers, focused on using data from the Copernicus Climate Change Service to combat climate change. 

In the field of education, she has moderated and provided support for initiatives such as the European Researchers’ Night (2023, 2024 and 2025 editions, Barcelona Node), scientific literacy and science misinformation-fighting activities as part of the GOLIAT project, and the development of a comic as a science communication tool within the TOLIFE project. 

She is currently responsible for communication and dissemination tasks in the European PULSE-ART project, which focuses on the intersection of education, culture and art. Within this framework, she coordinates the design and curation of content for the website and the Digital Observatory, as well as the newsletter strategy, communication campaigns and other science communication and engagement activities.
