Marc Bañuls

Data Manager

Marc Bañuls has earned a Degree in Biotechnology. On 2019 Marc did an Erasmus+ Internship in Germany (DZNE) to increase his skillset on growing stem cells and differentiate them into neurons during an extensive differentiation process. After that he did a MSc in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics and managed to do a Master's thesis about finding SNPs on a specific strawberry species in Valencia, using several Python libraries and scripts to manage that. From 2020 until today, Marc has been working as a Data Manager/Biostatistic at ISGlobal to apply and increase his skills in the Data Science field, improving his skills using the REDCap and OpenClinica data collection tools and the Python and R languages. He has been working formatting reports into REDCap related to COVID-19, Malaria and Tuberculosis projects he has been mainly working on, including an extensive work on cleaning the data collected on several projects.
