Cesc Bertran-Cobo is an enthusiastic scientist who finds it essential to conceive research as indivisible to its social context. He studied a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a research MSc in Neurosciences at the University of Amsterdam.
His last research project was focused on exploring the impact of foetal exposure to HIV on brain development in South African children.
He has recently joined ISGlobal's Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health team as a Junior Epidemiologist for the ICARIA and MULTIPLY projects.
