Neus Rosell

Research Technician Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health, Viral and Bacterial Infections, Childhood & Environment

Neus Rosell studied the degree of Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona, specializing in research in Biochemistry. She finished her degree at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, on a research project about yeast's respiratory chain. She also has a background in microbiology, having been involved in a research programme at Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.

She holds an MSc in Global Health by the University of Barcelona and ISGlobal (2019-2020). She specialized in Food Security policies, with a focus on land tenure and use. Among her main interests, she is passionate about Environmental Health and Global Governance, with a focus on Human Rights and Gender.

At ISGlobal, she has participated in different COVID-19 research projects (SEROCOV-1 and COVICAT) during the pandemic. At the moment she is working on the BiSC project, a study that aims to understand the children's health impact of environmental exposure during pregnancy.

At the same time, she has been involved for many years in cooperation projects and NGOs, and currently, she chairs the Global Health Next Generation Network, an organization of young professionals in Global Health.
