Elisa Rubio is a pharmacist graduated from the University of Barcelona (UB). She specialized in Clinical Microbiology and Parasitology at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona in 2018. Currently she is studying for a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics.
She joined ISGlobal in 2020 as a predoctoral fellow in the context of the MISTRAL European project. Her main research interests are microbiome analysis and new tools for the rapid detection and control of multi-drug resistant bacteria.
