The R User Conference IV brings together 70 researchers from all over Spain

On 15th and 16th November the CREAL researcher, Juan Ramón González, organized the Fourth Meeting of R Members that were held at the Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (CREAL) in Barcelona and attended by about 70 researchers from Spain.

Like other years, the objectives of the Fourth Conference was to provide a meeting place for users of R, fostering collaboration among them in a multidisciplinary environment, spreading awareness of language and its possibilities and promote the use of R.

R is currently being used as the data analysis software in many disciplines including, among others, biomedicine, engineering, economics or biology. For this reason, in recent years the Community R-Hispano has been organizing this conference meeting that serve both users and developers or simply R enthusiasts who want to share their knowledge and/or experience in the use of it. From CREAL had the honor of hosting these IV Conference along with the invaluable assistance of RUGBCN and the R-Hispanic Community.
