The European Respiratory Society awards the contribution of scientific JM Antó

On 18 September the CREAL director, J M Antó, received the Congress Chair Award of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) during the congress of this organization. This ERS recognition awards his scientific contribution as well as his leadership and collaboration in research projects.

In fact, Dr Antó research is significant for its application of epidemiology to understand the determinants of environmental and occupational respiratory diseases. In addition, in 2005 Josep M. Antó created CREAL (Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology).
