Staffordshire University to host PHENOTYPE Stakeholder Symposium 2015

05.12.2014

From 28-30 April 2015, the PHENOTYPE Consortium will convene in Stoke-on-Trent (UK) to discuss progress, analysis and preliminary results of the project. As part of this, we invite stakeholders to the programme on 28 April 2015, which will include seminars from invited speakers, discussion and engaging public sessions.

Further information regarding the programme outline and registration will follow soon at PHENOTYPE website.

PHENOTYPE is assessing the positive effects on the health of outdoor populations from different regions of Europe. The project is funded through the European 7th Framework Programme until December 2015. Multiple scientific papers have already been published which show, for example, the benefits of green spaces on the birth weight of babies, cardiovascular health, and bloodpressure during pregnancy.

More publication will follow, and an updated list can be found on the project website: http://www.phenotype.eu/en/publications/scientific/research-articles.
