Prof. Manolis Kogevinas, has been elected first Chair of the European section of the ISEE

Prof. Manolis Kogevinas, co-Director of CREAL of Barcelona, was elected first Chair of the European section of the International Society of Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE). Prof. Barbara Hoffmann from the Leibniz Research Institute for Environmental Medicine, Dusseldorf, Germany was elected vice-Chair.

The ISEE is the largest scientific association in environmental health. The European chapter of ISEE was recently created to promote action on matters related to environmental health research, education in environmental epidemiology and the improvement of public health in Europe.
