From 28-30 April 2015, the PHENOTYPE Consortium will convene in Stoke-on-Trent (UK) to discuss progress, analysis and preliminary results of the project. As part of this, we invite stakeholders to the programme on April 28th, which will include seminars from invited speakers, discussion and engaging public sessions.

"Making the Natural Health Service Work" with Dr William Bird.
28 April, Stoke-on-Trent, UK.

This promises to be a thought-provoking and engaging session around how to make best use of our natural environments and green spaces, to achieve the greatest health benefit. This event is open to everyone who is interested in the subject.

About the project

PHENOTYPE is assessing the positive effects on the health of outdoor populations from different regions of Europe. The project is funded through the European 7th Framework Programme until December 2015. Multiple scientific papers have already been published which show, for example, the benefits of green spaces on the birth weight of babies, cardiovascular health, and bloodpressure during pregnancy.
