ISGlobal will offer scholarships to two students in the Master of Global Health during the 2017-2018 academic year. The scholarships will cover the entire cost of tuition, including university enrolment fees. Other expenses—including travel, visas, accommodation in Barcelona, local transport, and any materials needed for the course, including computers—will be borne by the students.
Applicants must have a university degree or other advanced degree related to the life sciences or social sciences and an excellent academic record. They must also demonstrate a commitment to global health and associated values—such as equity in health, care for vulnerable populations and acceptance of diversity—and to the advancement of their communities.
Applicants must be nationals and residents of one of the 50 countries of sub-Saharan Africa: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Réunion, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
