CREAL participates in Science Week 09 '

The Center for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (Creal) participated for first time in Science Week this year was held from 13 to 24 November. Specifically, on November 23 CREAL was visited by 60 students of 2nd Batxillerat de l'IES Can Vilumara L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.

These students visited the PRBB, and they know their research centers in these fields. After giving a tour of the Center, received a lecture from the Project manager, Gemma Castano CREAL about what we do.

424 activities throughout Catalonia
The Science Week XIV in Catalonia was performed a total of 424 outreach activities focused on the concepts of evolution, innovation and creativity under the theme Live science!

This activity was coordinated by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (IFRC), which includes 200 organizations and has the support of the Department of Innovation, Universities and Enterprise.

The director of the IFRC, Albert Castellanos explained that the aim is to present science as a "future investment" and said that the large number of programmed activities, conferences, roundtables, workshops offered at the centers of doors research, courses, workshops and exhibitions, shows the "dynamic" of the participating entities
