CREAL invites to the workshop "Active Transportation and Health" on October 28

On 28 October, CREAL, an ISGlobal research centre, and the European project PASTA invites both experts and citizens interested in mobility to the workshop "Active Transportation and Health" in order to discuss visions, planning conditions, success factors and barriers to implementing relevant measures of active transport (walking and traveling by bike) in Barcelona.

Therefore, representatives from the Public Health Agency of Barcelona, from the public bicycle service Bicing, the Mobility Department of Barcelona City Council and representatives and researchers from cities like Vienna, Copenhagen, Brussels and Vancouver who are participating in the PASTA project will participate in this event, that will take place at the Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona (PRBB).

This project aims to improve city planning thanks to thje planifications and the study of mobility interventions and policies that can improve the health of citizens. To achieve this objective, researchers will interview 14,000 people from 7 European cities (Barcelona, Antwerp London, Örebro, Rome, Vienna and Zürich).
