CREAL holds its annual meeting

The Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (CREAL) will hold on Friday November 25th its Annual Retreat. The meeting will be held at the Casa de la Convalescència-UAB (Sant Antoni Maria Claret 171 street) and will involve all CREAL staff.

The aim of the retreat is that the entire centre gets informed for the around 50 current research projects of CREAL, their current state, the most important results of the past year and future plans.

Throughout the day researchers will present the projects of the six CREAL programs: Cancer, Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Child Health, Respiratory and Radiation.
At the end of the day Clara Menendez, CRESIB researcher, will speak about "International Health and Environment' and will refer to the possibilities of joint projects between CRESIB and CREAL.

The closure will be done by Dr. Antoni Plasència, General Director of Public Health, of Generalitat of Catalonia from 2004 to September 2011 and chairman of the CREAL Board since its inception.
