CREAL celebrates the Physical Activity World Day

On 6th April is Physical Activity World Day, which this year coincides with the celebration of the Active Ageing European Year and it will be celebrated until 22nd April. CREAL adheres to this celebration by promoting physical exercise.

Specifically, staff have been encouraged to travel by bicycle, walking or skates to the office and we has made a call for next Thursday April 19th at 13 pm in the courtyard of Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona (PRBB) to run or walk along the promenade.

Note that the participation will be collected in a poster with the slogan "I practice what I publish," which will be recorded on the Plan for Physical Activity, Sport and Health (PAFES) of Generalitat of Catalonia website: www.pafes.cat.

Record participation in Physical Activity World Day 2011 in Catalonia

Participation in Physical Activity World Day of 2011 exceeded by 80% from 2010 that was held for the first time in Catalonia. 66,356 individuals and 493 entities (36.890 individuals and 175 entities in 2010) took part in various events.
