Clínic Obert 2026

Clínic Obert 2026 is an open day organised by the Campus Clínic in Barcelona, featuring over 100 activities on health, research and innovation for all audiences. Professionals from different institutions bring science closer to the public through workshops, demonstrations and participatory activities.

The Campus Clínic — made up of Hospital Clínic Barcelona, IDIBAPS, ISGlobal, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona (UB), the CAPSBE primary care centres and the Fundació Món Clínic — will hold the second edition of Clínic Obert on 9 May, from 9:30 to 16:00, a day designed to bring health, science and innovation closer to the public.

Throughout the morning and into the early afternoon, professionals from all the campus institutions will offer more than one hundred activities in health, research and education along Carrer Casanova in Barcelona, between Carrer Provença and Carrer París.

The programme includes: 

  • Health and prevention workshops and talks
  • Scientific and technological demonstrations
  • Guided visits to campus facilities
  • Cultural activities and live music
  • Children’s workshops on health and science
  • Physical activity sessions (zumba, yoga, tai chi...)
  • Healthy cooking with guest chefs
  • Healthy food trucks and rest areas

Hundreds of volunteer professionals from all the Campus institutions will make this festive and participatory day possible, with health at its core and in direct engagement with local residents and the wider public. You can consult the full programme on the website www.clinicobert.cat.

  • Walking for lung health. Time: 9:30–10:30. Route from the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) to Hospital Clínic. Led by: Raül Toran
  • Climate, health and migration: culture as a driver of social mobilisation. Time: 9:30–14:30. Location: Casanova - Provença. Led by: Marina Pérez
  • Take care of your liver! Information and free screening for viral hepatitis. Time: 9:30–14:30. Location: Casanova - Còrsega. Led by: Camila Picchio
  • Lung health with spirometry tests. Time: 9:30–14:30. Location: Casanova - Còrsega. Led by: Raül Toran
  • Bacteria, playgrounds and prevention. Time: 13:30. Location: Casanova - Provença. Led by: Elisabet Guiral
  • #APlenaVista: learning to assess liver health in HIV care. Time: 11:30. Location: Casanova - Provença. Led by: Anthony Armenta
  • Let’s build a healthier and more sustainable future together. Time: 10:00–14:00. Location: Square (Casanova - Rosselló)
