A CREAL paper, awarded by the Best Environmental Epidemiology Paper

The publication “Birth Weight, Head Circumference, and Prenatal Exposure to Acrylamide from Maternal Diet: The European Prospective Mother – Child Study (NewGeneris)”, by Marie Petersen,  CREAL researcher, published in Environmental Health Perspectives Vol 120:1739 - 1745, December 2012, was selected by the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) as the Best Environmental Epidemiology Paper published in 2012.

The article was selected for this award by a Committee after a rigorous review of a short-list of more than 25 papers nominated by journal editors, identified through a screening of multiple journals by committee members and from nominations by ISEE members.

According of the jury “The article makes an outstanding contribution to the knowledge of environmental epidemiology  and was selected because of its quality, originality, importance and expected impact. The award will be announced in the September issue of Epidemiology and on the website and conference program of the 2013 ISEE Annual Conference”.
