Los programas de máster UB-ISGlobal 2024/2025 celebran su ceremonia de graduación

Orgullo y emoción llenaron el Aula Magna de la Facultad de Medicina y Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad de Barcelona (UB) el 4 de julio, durante la ceremonia de graduación del programa de máster UB-ISGlobal 2024/25. Así concluía un intenso recorrido académico para 40 estudiantes de más de 20 países, matriculados en el Máster en Salud Global, el Máster tropEd en Salud Global y el Máster en Investigación Clínica Aplicada: Especialidad Salud Global, tres programas impartidos conjuntamente por la UB e ISGlobal.

Núria Casamitjana, que dirige los másteres en Salud Global y tropEd, y coordina el itinerario en Salud Global, felicitó de entrada al alumnado por su esfuerzo y progreso, y subrayó cómo les había visto superar diversos retos a lo largo del curso.

Quique Bassat, director general de ISGlobal, profesor de investigación ICREA y profesor de la UB, y codirector del Máster en Salud Global, fue elegido por el alumnado como ponente del profesorado. Compartió su trayectoria profesional en el ámbito de la salud global e instó a los recién graduados a mantener su pasión por la equidad en salud, en un mensaje inspirador y reflexivo.

En la conferencia de clausura, la profesora de investigación ICREA Anna Roca habló de su experiencia como investigadora y destacó la importancia de la resiliencia en una carrera en salud global.

En representación del alumnado, Karim El Khaldi, Eris Navarro y Amanda Miranda Martins ofrecieron discursos emotivos acerca de sus vivencias, desafíos y aspiraciones, con humor, gratitud y esperanza.

Trabajos finales: una ventana a los retos de la salud global

Entre el 30 de junio y el 4 de julio de 2025, el alumnado defendió sus trabajos finales de máster ante tribunales académicos, presentando investigaciones que reflejan la diversidad y complejidad de los desafíos en salud global.
