The joint LERU – EGHRIN Global HealthTownhall Meeting on Healthy people, healthy societies: an integrated approach will be held on 13 and 14 June 2022 in the Universitat de Barcelona. The meeting is meant to bring together researchers from LERU universities and EGHRIN member institutes around major themes in Global health that Europe should help address in the coming years. It was originally planned for 2021 but was postponed several times because it is considered key to have it in-person. Register to attend the event.

Four themes will be discussed, via keynote presentations, via panel discussions and breakout sessions. These are:

The objective of the breakout rooms is to:

• reflect on the proposed thematic areas and their priority and relevance for Europe
• identify where LERU and EGHRIN members can play a meaningful and credible role
• define the main research questions in relation to the thematic areas from an interdisciplinary perspective as a basis for a European global health research agenda
