The event will discuss recent trends in the revision of the current research assessment system and the role of open science. It will consist of two keynote talks in the European context, followed by a round table with national and local funders (see agenda below). We expect it will be directly relevant to our community, and we highly encourage you to come and be part of the conversation.

The workshop is free and open to all, but we kindly ask you to register using this form.

This is organized by ISGlobal (in the context of the projects REDES and Severo Ochoa), with the collaboration of the Group of Good Scientific Practice at PRBB and MELIS-UPF (Maria de Maetzu Unit of Excellence)

11.05-11.30 h – Coffee break

11.30-13.00 h – Research Assessment Round Table with Spanish and Catalan funders, moderated by Michela Bertero (Director of Strategy at IDIBAPS).

Gonzalo Arévalo, director general of planning, monitoring and evaluation at the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation
