Investigación - Nuestro equipo

Aurora Barberá holds a BSc in Biotechnology (Polytechnic University of Valencia), a MSc in Translational Biomedical Research (Autonomous University of Barcelona), and a PhD in Medicine (Autonomous University of Barcelona). During her PhD at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research, she developed a strong scientific background covering the multidisciplinary study of human liver disease, i.e. MASLD/NAFLD specifically, and its relationship with the gut microbiota from a translational perspective.

Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Health Systems Research Group at ISGlobal, taking an active role in research projects within the field of liver health.
