Stella Evangelidou

Stella Evangelidou

Stella Evangelidou holds an International Ph.D. in Transcultural Psychiatry (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Harvard University) with initial studies in community clinical/health psychology.

She is a global mental health specialist, a consultant on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) projects, and a mental health advocate. She has worked on European and international research projects (MyHealth, EPICENTRE, WHOQOL) and on numerous humanitarian MHPSS projects (MSF, ICRC) as team leader, clinical and community research coordinator as well as an external evaluator. She coordinates the module of medical anthropology at the Master of International Health and Cooperation (UAB) and as an invited lecturer, she delivers classes on interculturality, violence against women, MHPSS in LMICs.

Currently, she is the migration and mental health referent at the Barcelona CaixaResearch Living Lab.
