Clara Tapia is an accomplished individual with a strong academic background in the field of medicine and scientific research. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wyoming, where she graduated with honors while also playing basketball at the highest level (NCAA Div I). Clara further pursued her passion for neuroscience by obtaining a thesis-based master's degree from the renowned University of Calgary.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Clara has made contributions to clinical research. She has worked at the Alberta Children's Hospital, focusing on improving treatments for adolescents with treatment-resistant depression. Clara also has a strong passion for education and has served as a graduate teacher in a high-complexity high school as part of the Empieza por Educar Development Program, affiliated with the Teach for All network.

Currently, Clara holds the role of project manager at the Barcelona Life Study Cohort (BiSC). Among her responsibilities, she serves as a liaison between the field workers and the researchers, ensuring smooth coordination and communication. Additionally, she adeptly balances this position with her third-year studies in Medicine at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
