She has a background in environmental science and public health. The main aim of her Master’s final project was to investigate the effects of air pollution on mental health, in particular anxiety and depression. She has also experience carrying out fieldwork within epidemiological studies. Her PhD thesis is part of the BlueHealth project and its main objective is to evaluate the effects of blue spaces on people's health and wellbeing. She has been mainly working on the community-level interventions conducted in Barcelona and surroundings, designing the study protocols, recruiting participants, collecting and analyzing the data and reporting the results.
