Anna joined the Barcelona Centre for International Health Research (CRESIB) in September 2008 where she worked as Pre-award grants manager. She then switched to CRESIB’s Global Health Policy Unit that aimed to inform Spanish global health policy. Since June 2010 she works at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) where she coordinates the activities of the Maternal, Infant and Reproductive health Initiative, The Neglected Tropical Diseases Initiative and the Antibiotic Resistance Initiative. She has over 10 years working experience in international cooperation and the health sector. Prior to joining CRESIB, she was project manager at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) and with the Catalan Department of Health at the Planning and Evaluation Directorate. 2003-2006 she was Project officer at HLSP Consulting, responsible for projects in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Mediterranean region. A law graduate, she holds a masters degree in Law from the Centro de Estudios Financieros and a masters in Public and Social Policies and a postgraduate course in Chinese culture and language both from Pompeu Fabra University. In 2000 Anna won a European Commission fellowship to join the EU-China Managers Exchange and Training Programme and lived in the PR China for 3 years.
