Mirko Rojas is an Agronomist Engineer from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil, 1995), Diploma in Higher Education from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón (Bolivia 2012), Specialist in Medical Entomology, Master and Doctor in Parasitic Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Brazil 1997, 2000, 2006 respectively).

He is responsible for the National Chagas Program and the Entomology and Vector Control components, Ministry of Health (Bolivia 2008 to 2009 and 2005 to 2007 respectively), responsible for the Surveillance component in Medical Entomology and National Technical Project Monitor at the CEADES Foundation (Bolivia 2010 and 2019).
