What is the Socioeconomic Impact of Zika in Latin America and the Caribbean?

The social and economic cost of the recent spread of the Zika virus in Latin America and the Caribbean will total an estimated US$7-18 billion between 2015 and 2017, according to an impact assessment launched by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and in collaboration with the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and the John Hopkins University (JHU). This video aims to reflect this socio-economic impact in a very visual and understandable way.
