Jordi Sunyer project received 189,636.88 € from La Marató

Dr Sunyer presented this project at La Marató 2008 announcement together with Dr. Joan Grimalt, Institute of Diagnostic and Environmental Studies Water CSIC.

The event, held in the Faculty of Medicine Clinical Campus at the University of Barcelona, was led by journalists Raquel Sans and Lídia Heredia. He also attended by Health Regional Minister, Marina Geli, UB School of Medicine vice-dean, Albert Torras, and Catalan Broadcasting Corporation and The TV3 Marathon Foundation president, Alberto Sáez .

26 chosen from 151 projects

In the 2008 edition, dedicated to mental illness, there were 151 projects that were reviewed by 131 scientists of international specialists in this field based on their quality, relevance and methodology. Management assessment was carried out by the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Research, Department of Health.

According to the proposal of the Scientific Advisory Committee The TV3 Marathon Foundation, the Board agreed to fund 26 excellence research projects.
