Job offer: Research technician for BiSC project

What We Are Looking for

ISGlobal is seeking a research technician to join our young, dynamic teams in child-health and air pollution and urban environment research for an 8-months period. The overall goal of the AURORA project ( is to study the health impacts of micro and nano-plastics on fetus and children’s health. The AURORA study is part of the BiSC project (, aiming to understand the effects of pre and postnatal exposure to air pollution on child brain development.

Main Duties and Tasks

  • Be in contact with the BiSC families during the different follow-ups of the BISC Cohort (at 12, 18 and 28 months)
  • Data entry and organization


Training and Experience

  • Degree in biomedical sciences or equivalent is required.
  • Expertise in similar projects and duties.
  • Experience using RedCap.


  • Responsible, flexible and with problem solving skills
  • Good organization skills 
  • Autonomous and able to self-manage with the participants
  • Good communication skills with the research team and the families of the infant participants in the study.
  • Fast-learning skills, to learn and implement infant eye-tracking experiments. 
  • Flexibility.


  • Catalan and, Spanish written and spoken. English will be valued.


  • Duration: 8 months 
  • Starting date: 16/08/2022
  • Contract: Part time (50%)
  • Salary Range:  Technician IID according to internal salary scale.
